Day 21 – Strathaven to Busby
I have walked over 320 miles in 21 days. I personally do not believe in a judgemental God, but if I did I would now be well and truly shriven.
Clarion is now having a day off in Busby (a suburb of Glasgow) and will be carried the last 6 miles into the centre of town on Monday.
I was thinking today that if a fictionalised film was made of our adventure, then Harry English should play me. He was born on the same day as me in 1961 and grew up in the same town, though I never met him. Kusumeh should be played by Helena Bonham Carter.
So now we’re just tidying up the loose ends of interviews and then we’re out of here! On Monday I hope to finalise Clarion’s Scottish home.
