Day 22 – Rest Day
On the spreadsheet for today it says ‘Day off – Bear care and Bamber care,’
Last evening I had a long session after walking, patching up Clarion to make sure he was okay and looking his best.
Today, I had a day in Glasgow, wandering around and looking at the route for tomorrow. Everthing is ready – all the kit is packed and a good group here are ready to help. I just hope the police let us have a peaceful walk and don’t harrass us or arrest us.
In the afternoon we hope to meet up with another internally lit polar bear.
I don’t have any pictures for today but we do have another song that’s been written for Clarion. Huge thanks to Suzy who helped carry Clarion over the Gatesgarth pass and wrote this song so that Clarion could address the gathered presidents at COP 26.
Clarion is a very modern bear. He's active on social media and would be happy if you would follow him.
