Day 9 –  Garstang to Lancaster

Yesterday afternoon when we’d finished our Bear work, but before I turned off the tracker on my phone, I walked out onto a sports field near where we were staying. I walked around, seemingly randomly and much to the bemusement of the neighbours who were looking on.

What they didn’t realise was that I was spelling out the word LOVE.

This morning I spoke to the primary school children where Clarion had spent the night and answered their questions.

It was a chilly, rainy day as it should be for this time of year.

We paraded Clarion in his upright pose across the university campus before bedding him down behind a church.

The Sustainababble Podcast featuring an interview with me came out today – #22 The Road to Cop 26. I’m going to listen to it now.

Clarion is a very modern bear. He's active on social media and would be happy if you would follow him.

Up to date information about Clarion's progress is on the Facebook page where there are also links to WhatsApp groups for each day (in the Events tab) . You'll find invitation links for each day so you can find out where Clarion is, see who else is meeting where, and what time he's expected to arrive at points on the way.

He also has a phone: 07432 137 034 so if you need to find out where he is en route, this is the number to call.

He also has a second phone to cover another network area, so feel free to call this one if the first one doesn't work: 07932958959
